My first tattoo since I believe there is faith in all of us that strongly exists forever.

This is my 3rd tattoo. It is of a cherry blossom branch, open bird cage, and bird flying free on my left shoulder blade. I had it done at Outsiders Ink in Tulsa, OK by Austin McCullough.
This is a tattoo I got as sort of a tribute to my mother. When I went in to get the eye on my forearm with my best friend, I saw my tattoo artist drawing (or finishing) the drawing of this woman. Immediately I knew I wanted her on me somewhere, but I didn’t know where or why.
One day I was looking at her and I realized why I needed to have this woman tattooed on me. My mother has eyes that change color depending on her mood, grey normally and green when she cries or is very upset. My mother suffers from chronic depression, which is why the bottom set of eyes are green and she looks sad. My mother has had a silver-grey strip in her hair since she was young, for seemingly no reason at all. This design made it easy to add that in. Her favorite flower is a rose, and she loves peacocks. She’s looking over my shoulder, facing the future with me always. :)

So I just got my first tattoo today and I’ve been wanting to get one for the longest time, and I finally grew the balls to go and get it done for my 21st birthday despite the fact that my parents will kill me when they find out. But pokemon has been one of my favorite show since i was growing up and Mew has always been my favorite! I have many more planed but I’m so happy and excited for it! I’m proud to say I’m tattooed and have such a wonderful piece of artwork on my body that means something to me!
