For the interview I donned my most professional attire, and simply asked about the policy. My interviewer was actually thrilled that I had asked instead of showing up after getting the job with all my piercing in/tattoos visible. Be upfront, but make it clear you're ready and willing to adjust if hired to any policies they may have in place. Good luck!! :)
