This is my phoenix - the second of my five tattoos and probably my favorite.It is based on Isaiah 61:3, as well as a song that my brother-in-law wrote for me.  Both speak of God trading our ashes in for beauty.  This truth resonates so deeply with me & I think the phoenix is the perfect symbol for beauty being birthed from ashes!Designed & inked by Omar at All-American Tattoo in Salem, Oregon.  His artwork is incredible!  He has inked three of my five tattoos.
