back in december of 2011 i came across a pretty sweet looking tattoo posting on Fuck Yeah! Tattoos tumblr page and i decided to check out the person who posted it. I creeped hardcore and sent the guy a message about it, thinking nothing would come from it. shortly after this, we began talking on tumblr messages (“ask”s), which then lead to becoming facebook friends, which then lead to texting, phone calls, and skyping… he came to visit/meet me for the first time in may, which was also when he got the Buffalo tattoo by my artist Josh at Holy Ground. we both love Zombieland and used to call each other by our hometowns… me being Buffalo (buffalo, ny) and him being Rockford (rockford, il).

i just recently spent two amazing weeks with him in Rockford, where i got my thigh tattoo by his artist Isaac at Delicious Ink. it’s lyrics to our favorite Bayside song “landing feet first”. this song means a lot to us, mostly because one of the first times we skyped he sang it while playing guitar, and the lyrics are perfect for our little long distance situation… feels like i met you years ago, and we’re picking up right where we left off.  the compass kind of fits in with that, as well.

anyway, i met the love of my life on tumblr because of a tattoo, and i couldn’t be happier…. until i move there, that is.
