This is Winry Fae, she was born on july 5th. She is currently fighting for her life, in an Ann Aarbor Michigan hospital. She has a heart defect called Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome and Tricupid Valve Astresia. I would like to meet her one day, but I need your help in order to do that. I need YOU to pray, just think about her, and send good vibes her way. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO THIS FOR ME. SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!!!! The more people that pray for her and send her more good vibes she will be able to beat this. She needs to grow up and be a strong girl! She has a sister that need to meet her, and her mom and dad want to watch her grow big and strong and live a normal life.

UPDATE******

Winry Fae has had 3 open heart surgery’s, as of yesterday.Her shunt was clogged with clot, the doctors think this is what caused her to go downhill. Her blood pressure is rising and shes starting to up to a bit more. She’s still not out the the danger zone. She still needs prayers, thoughts, and good vibes sent to her.

****UPDATE***

“Last nights cardiac echo showed very little function in Winry’s left heart & coronary arteries. The doctors were worried there was permanent damage. As you all know, Winry only has a left heart, so this was scary news…they touched on the subject of transplantation and made the transplant team aware of Winry’s condition and urgency.

Another echo was done a few minutes ago and it showed some function!!!!! They’ll do another echo tonight or in the morning, to make sure she’s maintaining flow and stays stable. If she stays stable, they will start weaning her slowly off life support tomorrow. She’s still critical and the weaning can go very wrong, but we are hopeful!!! She’s SUCH a fighter!!! She was moving her feet when her Daddy was talking to her :) WHOOOHOOOOO!!! Say LOTS of prayers tomorrow, that she stays stable enough to come off the ECMO.”

This is an update on Winry’s condition from earlier today. As soon as I know more, I will share with everyone. Thank you all for your continued support, prayers, and positive energy! Please keep sending it her way!

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Things are not going well. They did a trial wean off life support…her heart beats on its own. YAY! The bad news is that they found a leak on the left side of her heart (the one side she has) in the mitral valve, so she is getting too much blood to her lungs. The mitral valve is a whole separate and very risky surgery. They put her on the transplant list… There aren’t many hearts for babies, but she’s at the top of the list, so she’s a good candidate.

****UPDATE****

Little miss did not have an easy night. :( She had a pretty severe bleed while on ECMO. Because she is on so many blood thinners, a routine issue for shunt recipients became a big issue. Her blood was not able to clot so another surgery was needed. They put another stitch in her shunt & that seems to have helped signifcantly. She’s stable now but her trial has certainly been delayed. 4 surgeries in 5 days…
