I lost my dear friend in a car accident over Spring break this year. I got this tattoo in memory of her, she had such an artistic soul and she was one of the wisest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. We had art class together everyday, and when she died, she was working on a painting that was a clutter of roses with the quote, ”Think of your pain like a bunch of red roses, a beautiful thorn necklace. Everyone has one.” This tattoo reminds me to appreciate life, and to not waste my days on pain.
