My first tattoo. The reason why i got this tattoo was to support the butterfly project. you see for those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s something to help people to stop cutting. the person who cuts has to draw a butterfly on their wrists or wherever they cut and write the name of someone they love. if the person cuts the butterfly dies. i got a butterfly tattoo on my left wrist with my dads first initial, because it’s the arm that i first got my cut, and where i began cutting. but then i stopped about 2 years ago. i wanted to get a tattoo for a while and i wanted it to be symbolic. so i thought hey, maybe i should do the butterfly project on my wrist and get my dads initial since i look up to him a lot throughout my life. i won’t ever regret it because i will look at it as a memory form of a tattoo where i survived and stopped cutting and tell my kids this exact story of my butterfly tattoo.
